AERA IN THE HOUSE

AERA IN THE HOUSE

We have a return guest. Our friends at Aera Instruments, the cleverly contemporary watch people who we welcomed to the Savile Row store a couple of years ago, are with us again. This time you can find them in residence in the first-floor lounge at Richard James House until 20th December.

One thing we like very much that you won’t have seen the last time Aera were with us is the C-1 (below and bottom), the brand’s latest release and its first Chronograph. Another sweetly balanced example of Swiss precision and clean, fuss-free British design, the C-1 comes in two versions: the ethereal light grey Cloud, which features sky blue accents, and the bold-in-black Shadow, which is set off by red and white accents.

For those that are as interested in inside workings as much as outside appearances, the 42mm C-1 is forged from resilient 904L stainless steel and powered by a dependable Elabore-grade Sellita SW510 Bi-compax movement. All in all, it’s a spot-on stablemate for Aera’s P-1 Pilot and D-1 Diver.

As a special offer, Aera are offering Richard James customers an additional strap (an Italian-made pebble leather, smooth leather, rubber, G10 or cordura strap at that) with every watch purchase. Just provide the code RJXAERA1024 when ordering at Richard James House or enter it when checking out at aera.co. This offer is valid until 31st December ’24.

Aera will be hosting a number of special guest-led events while they are with us, where you can meet their team and learn more about the likes of movements, materials, design and how to make watches that simply meet modern-day demands.

Be first to hear about event dates by registering with Aera here or following them on Instagram. And please feel free to drop by Richard James House at 19 Clifford Street to see them at any time from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, until 20th December.
